"We must be the change we want to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi LARK was created by the members of the 2012 Leadership Ascension Class as a project to serve the community and surrounding areas. The challenge was to create a project that could be sustained for many years to come. |

| With the support of local associations and the leadership of Ascension Parish, LARK can be used and sustained for a long period of time. It has the ability to stand ready for any opportunity the local and surrounding areas have for disaster relief. LARK not only exists to readily serve in a time of disaster, but also can be used by its supporting partners for local functions and events as needed. | |
